Meet the Fordmore Family - Jess
We’d like to introduce you to Jess, who joined us here at Fordmore Farm Shop and Café in 2020.
What did you do before you came to Fordmore?
I went to secondary school in Uffculme and then on to do my A Levels at Exeter College. I started working at Fordmore at the end of my A Levels and just as we went into lockdown, so it was a strange time. We were able to stay open when lots of other places were closed and we did what we could to help people.
What do you enjoy about working here?
I like meeting new and current customers, taking pride in creating the shop and making sure it’s a good shopping experience for them. I also care for the ever-increasing number of animals we have at Fordmore, and look after them like they are my own pets.
What do you do in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with friends, family and our dogs, as well as travelling to new places.
If you were to recommend one item customers should try from the shop - what would it be?
The cheese! We stock a large variety of local and regional cheeses and they are delicious!
Tell us something about you that other people don’t know.
I’m travelling to Australia in the New Year.
